thumbs up for sucking

My new favorite vampire movie: Let the Right One In

There are vampire movies that play by the rules and then there are the ones that twist them.

I just watched this last night. It's interesting to see a genre like horror without the Hollywood style and pacing, and without any comedy. Plus it was very atmospheric.

There are still a few things I didn't understand really. I think the creepiest part, to me, was that the old dude helping Eli out for the first half of the film was likely Oskar's age when they met.

So Oskar can look forward to a life of doing murder until he can't any more, at which point he gives himself up to Eli.

Oh, SPOILERS! Don't read any of that unless you've seen the film already.

If you don't want to know what happens at the end of the movie, you probably shouldn't read the spoilers in the post before mine. I'm just sayin'.

Hey Tirsh! Fran's friend Arik here. Have you seen "Day Watch"? Best vamp movie yet, gonna be a cult classic.
